who am I?

My name is Burak Sansal, I'm a professional licensed tour guide in Turkey conducting private and group tours in English and Italian throughout the country since 1990.

I was born in Istanbul in 1968 and graduated from the university in Izmir with associate degree in Tourism and Hotel Management. After a special course of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism with strict exams on art, archaeology, history, geography and law, I received my "official tour guide" license. Besides continuous studies and updates of the history and culture of Turkey, every year I follow several professional seminars regarding the travel business and guiding.

Guiding in Turkey for over 28 years and traveling extensively worldwide, I have a personal knowledge of touring and hotel facilities in the following countries: Turkey, England, France, Denmark, Germany, Benelux countries, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Hungary, China, Korea, Japan, Russia, and the Caribbean.

what do I offer?

I do guide in Italian and English but I work with other guides as well for many other languages, all of them licensed by the Government too. All of our travel services are coordinated with licensed local Tour Operators and are based on guests' satisfaction. You may prefer private guided tours for families and for small groups in order to get a personalized service, flexible and custom-made itineraries with your own pace.

Many excursions can be arranged in Istanbul and in Turkey, there are good land and air connections between the cities and historical sites. You will find some example itineraries at the Tours page.
